What it does

CrownGuard is a commercial and industrial filter range built for the water British businesses actually receive. Chlorine and chloramine removal, sediment and particulate reduction down to fine micron ratings, lead reduction, cyst reduction, and limescale inhibition — in a housing built to take high flow rates and long duty cycles.

Why it matters in the UK

Chlorine. UK mains water is chlorinated by law, and rightly so. But chlorine is the single most common complaint in any operation where water goes into a drink or a dish. It flattens coffee, dulls tea, and carries into ice and stock. Removing it is the cheapest quality improvement most kitchens can make.

Lead. In the Drinking Water Inspectorate's most recent triennial reporting, lead was the poorest-performing parameter measured at consumers' taps. The cause is not the mains supply — it is lead plumbing still present in older buildings. If your premises predate the 1970s, this is a live question, not a theoretical one.

Limescale. Across London, the South East and East Anglia, hardness is high enough to scale a heating element in months rather than years. Scale inhibition at the filter protects everything downstream of it.

The commercial case

CrownGuard is an Everpure retrofit. It fits existing Everpure heads, so you keep the installation you already have and change what goes in it. For a multi-site operator running Everpure across an estate, that is a straightforward reduction in consumable cost with no plumbing work and no compatibility risk.

It runs standalone, or as pre-treatment ahead of reverse osmosis where the mineral profile matters — speciality coffee, food production, process water.

Configurations

The range covers chlorine taste and odour, lead reduction, cyst reduction and scale inhibition, in a choice of housings and flow rates. Which one you need depends on your supply, your equipment and what you're producing. We'll specify it properly rather than sell you the biggest one.
